Regenerating neurons in Parkinson’s disease by activating the Axin pathway 1

Researchers in Hong Kong have identified a protein, Axin, that plays a key role in the production of neurons. They feel that by manipulating this pathway they can also help people with Autism and will be able to apply this discovery towards regenerating neurons in people with Parkinson’s disease. Unfortunately the researchers feel that any treatment based on this discovery is 10 years away.

It is fine suggest possible help with Parkinsons but at the end of the statement it informs you 10 years have you idea what that does to someone with Parkinsons??You just do not have a clue 10yrs someone may be dead by then and if not 10yrs why bother to mention it? Possibly good PR for some —yet those with Parkinsons it can break your heart try thinking of others and not just yourself and your ego!!!!
